Olympic Flame visits Stockport on the morning of Sunday 24 June 2012.
Michelle’s Upcycled Sculptures and her volunteers will be outside Stockport Town Hall to welcome Olympic Flame.
Between 8am-9am the torch will be carried by a succession of runners along the A6 past Stockport Town Hall, Stockport College, through Heaviley and Great Moor to the junction of New Moor Lane in Stepping Hill where, still in relay, it will turn right into New Moor Lane and along Bramhall Moor Lane

UK Volunteers are warmly welcomed to participate in this exciting event that will be celebrated with “Looping the Loop” on the 19th May 2012 at Media City; a celebration bringing 10 Greater Manchester Boroughs together embracing sport, sustainability and a sense of community spirit
We are making a number of 5’ sculptures made from peddle bike parts and plastic bottle tops
I need…
Old or damaged bikes that are no longer used, forgotten or unwanted that you don’t want to go to the tip and clean and dry plastic bottle tops any size and colour
